Work Environment
Working onsite in our outpatient facility in Edison, New Jersey, you will be part of a collaborative environment alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The center is designed to provide a positive and motivating atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation. The work schedule spans Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while engaging in meaningful patient interactions.

Your role will primarily focus on an orthopedic population, including athletes and individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries. You will facilitate rehabilitation for patients aiming to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. - Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' health objectives and design comprehensive treatment plans.
- Administer patient care and manage a caseload of one patient per hour effectively, ensuring that individual therapeutic needs are met.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' movement capabilities and functional outcomes.
- Execute individualized fitness and wellness programs, addressing personal goals and specific challenges presented by patients.
- Document all services rendered and maintain meticulous records of patient progress using EMR software such as WebPT.
- Assess treatment efficacy, monitor outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Engage with patients to motivate them throughout their recovery journey, promoting self-efficacy and adherence to treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
- A clean professional record with no previous board actions or disciplinary measures.
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
- A minimum of one year experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and adeptness in documentation practices.
