Work Environment
Located in the picturesque coastal city of Bonita Springs, Florida, our outpatient office offers a vibrant and supportive environment to work in. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, incorporating detailed assessments and analysis of patient history.
  • Develop and communicate personalized treatment plans, involving patients and their families in goal-setting to enhance outcomes.
  • Implement effective treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs and monitor their progress, ensuring adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care and address any changes in patients' conditions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment protocols, and progress reports, following all regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care by coordinating follow-up activities.
  • Manage your schedule effectively, meet productivity goals, and participate actively in departmental marketing and community outreach initiatives.
  • Embrace ongoing learning and lead by example as a clinical instructor for students or new staff.
  • Advocate for patient access to care and assist in identifying and removing barriers to treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will primarily involve working with orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic pain. You will have the chance to make impactful changes in their lives by designing rehabilitation programs that restore mobility, alleviate discomfort, and promote physical wellness. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • A valid state license for physical therapy practice is mandatory.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and a passion for contributing to patient recovery.
Preferred Experience
While prior work experience is not required, candidates with internship or clinical rotation experience in orthopedic settings will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits
