Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at Total Fit Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned patient group, in close coordination with the medical team.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and participating actively in the development and implementation of customized care plans to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Overseeing and delivering the majority of the physical therapy interventions, adjusting as necessary to support patient recovery throughout the continuum of care.
  • Performing evaluations to assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status while contributing to the comprehensive plan of care as directed by the supervising physician.
  • Administering therapeutic care in patient homes when applicable, using both established procedures and innovative techniques aligned with the physician's guidance.
  • Educating patients, their families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, appliance usage, and self-management strategies necessary to continue progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Managing caseloads, prioritizing treatment plans, and coordinating with other staff for seamless patient care transitions.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will center on treating a diverse patient population, including both adults and children recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will have the opportunity to work with patients at various stages of rehabilitation, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and ensuring a holistic treatment experience. Qualifications
  • Must possess a current license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Arizona.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • No prior work experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates.
Preferred Experience
