Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of therapeutic tasks, which include:
  • Performing thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for clients, particularly focusing on children.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and best practices.
  • Conducting regular reassessments to monitor progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, utilizing our electronic record system.
  • Educating patients and their families about the recovery process, potential challenges, and strategies to aid in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in California, as issued by the Board of Physical Therapy.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and a willingness to perform evaluations both in-person and via telehealth, when appropriate.
  • A genuine interest in working with a heterogeneous patient population, demonstrating sensitivity to various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and individual needs.
  • A flexible, agile mindset, capable of adapting to the dynamic nature of healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, emphasizing collaboration and customer service.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly regarded:
  • Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting, especially with children or other specialized populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or similar documentation tools.
