Work Environment
This full-time position is set in our onsite rehabilitation facility located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional capabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care, incorporating a variety of treatment modalities tailored to each patient.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for complex cases.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, actively engaging with patients to encourage adherence to therapeutic exercises and lifestyle modifications.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on techniques and exercises to promote recovery and prevent re-injury.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to meet regulatory and billing requirements.
  • Meet minimum utilization goals while striving to exceed patient satisfaction benchmarks.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

  • Knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation technologies and treatment strategies.
