TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Riverside, California. Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who collaborate to deliver exceptional outcomes grounded in patient-specific needs and evidence-based practices.
Work Environment
You will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced sports medicine technology that enhances the efficacy of patient treatment and recovery. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and a PTA, sharing knowledge and strategies to elevate the care provided to our patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' goals and functional impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and optimize physical function.
  • Manage a patient caseload, conducting one-on-one sessions to ensure focused and personalized care.
  • Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and interventions, including hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
  • Explore cost-effective alternatives to medications and surgeries, guiding patients through their rehabilitation choices.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on outcomes and communication with the patient.
  • Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their treatment, fostering a proactive approach to recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for all patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Proficient in the application of manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly familiarity with WebPT, is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting with a strong focus on individualized patient care.
  • Knowledge of current best practices and advancements in physical therapy interventions.
  • Experience developing strength and flexibility programs tailored to both pre- and post-surgical patients.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
