Balanced Bodies Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to provide full-time, hands-on care in our outpatient office located in Fort Myers, Florida. Work Environment
You will be working in a friendly, supportive outpatient setting, alongside a dynamic team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant. Your day-to-day activities will involve direct interaction with patients in a hands-on capacity, ensuring focused attention and care during treatment sessions.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their needs, goals, and movement restrictions to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload with an emphasis on quality care-engaging one patient at a time each hour to ensure optimal treatment engagement.
• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services that include intervention, treatment, diagnosis, prevention, and rehabilitation techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Apply evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and physical function.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs, engaging patients in their recovery process and motivating them to meet their health goals.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as necessary to improve patient results.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient care services as per regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide holistic support to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This diverse population includes active individuals and athletes who require specialized rehabilitation to return to their daily activities and sports. Your expertise will empower patients by reducing their reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record without any prior disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated competence in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
