Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations that include reviewing patient history and performing specific assessments to guide treatment planning.
  • Effectively communicate findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
  • Implement individualized treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs and conditions, adapting approaches as necessary based on ongoing progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and make timely adjustments to treatment plans based on patient responses.
  • Complete documentation of all patient care activities, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while also maintaining an organized schedule and prioritizing patient needs.
  • Engage in departmental initiatives and contribute to team objectives, collaborating on marketing efforts to promote community education and outreach.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and take on the role of a clinical instructor for students in the physical therapy program.
  • Promote a positive patient experience, focusing on access to care and responsiveness to patient needs through adaptability and innovation.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In our outpatient setting, we serve a diverse patient population, primarily focused on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will utilize evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and overall quality of life for your patients.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Current state physical therapy licensure is mandatory for practice in Florida.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining competency in the field.
Preferred Experience
While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with clinical exposure in outpatient therapy, especially with orthopedic patients, will be highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach are essential to succeed in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
