Work Environment
The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with the latest therapeutic technology in a collaborative and multidisciplinary team setting. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for an achievable work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and empower them to actively participate in their recovery journey.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly, maintaining accurate and timely patient records that comply with insurance, regulatory, and clinic standards.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, leading to optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries sustained during sports or accidents, and chronic pain conditions. You will develop strong relationships with your patients, providing not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional support, fostering a positive healing environment essential for recovery.
Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• A current Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred; however, new graduates with a strong foundation in contemporary rehabilitation practices are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
LifeMotion Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
