Key Responsibilities
As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, diseases, or surgeries.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that leverage therapies such as exercise, stretching, hands-on manual techniques, and various therapeutic modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
  • Implement treatment plans with a focus on patient-centered outcomes, adapting techniques based on patient response and progress.
  • Document treatment sessions meticulously, tracking progress and modifying treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving goals.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and families on exercises, assistive devices, and overall self-care strategies to enable independence.
  • Maintain professional development by participating in workshops, networking with peers, and staying updated with the latest physical therapy research and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your focus will be primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will work with individuals across all age groups, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, whether they are an athlete seeking to regain peak performance or an elderly individual recovering from hip replacement surgery.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.
  • Active State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in documentation software.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
While prior clinical experience is not required, we welcome applicants with backgrounds in orthopedic therapy or related disciplines. A fresh perspective and eagerness to learn are highly valued in our team-oriented environment.
Compensation and Benefits
