Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will primarily work with patients who are seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, including sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic spans a wide age range, and you will play a key role in guiding them through their recovery journey by developing personalized approaches that cater to their physical abilities and lifestyle goals.
Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments to efficiently identify and address patients' functional goals and needs.
- Manage a patient caseload where you will engage individually with one patient per hour to ensure focused, targeted therapy.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to develop and implement tailored care plans encompassing prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Administer innovative and cost-effective treatment options aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
- Guide patients in reducing medication reliance by exploring non-surgical and holistic options for pain management.
- Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique recovery journey.
- Motivate and inspire patients to take an active role in their recovery, instilling healthy lifestyle practices such as improved strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting care services clearly and effectively, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.

- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role, ensuring a foundational knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques.
- Possession of a valid Florida Physical Therapist license, with a clean professional record free from board or disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques to facilitate effective treatment strategies.
- Strong expertise in creating, adapting, and executing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
- Comfort with technology, including experience using WebPT EMR Software to manage patient documentation and treatment records.
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, as it demonstrates a familiarity with common conditions and best practices in rehabilitation.
- Experience promoting wellness and preventive care strategies within patient populations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients, motivating them throughout their rehabilitation process.
