Work Environment
This position is based in our onsite facility, offering a collaborative environment where a team of physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) work together to deliver exceptional care. Our work setting prioritizes patient-centered approaches, utilizing a well-equipped 5000-square-foot sports medicine facility tailored for effective rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to efficiently identify and address patients' functional goals and needs.
  • Manage a patient caseload where you will engage individually with one patient per hour to ensure focused, targeted therapy.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches to develop and implement tailored care plans encompassing prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Administer innovative and cost-effective treatment options aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
  • Guide patients in reducing medication reliance by exploring non-surgical and holistic options for pain management.
  • Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique recovery journey.
  • Motivate and inspire patients to take an active role in their recovery, instilling healthy lifestyle practices such as improved strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, documenting care services clearly and effectively, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily work with patients who are seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, including sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic spans a wide age range, and you will play a key role in guiding them through their recovery journey by developing personalized approaches that cater to their physical abilities and lifestyle goals.
Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role, ensuring a foundational knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques.
  • Possession of a valid Florida Physical Therapist license, with a clean professional record free from board or disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques to facilitate effective treatment strategies.
  • Strong expertise in creating, adapting, and executing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Comfort with technology, including experience using WebPT EMR Software to manage patient documentation and treatment records.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, as it demonstrates a familiarity with common conditions and best practices in rehabilitation.
  • Experience promoting wellness and preventive care strategies within patient populations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients, motivating them throughout their rehabilitation process.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 per year, along with a robust benefits package that may include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
