Work Environment
As part of our supportive and friendly team, you will work in a collaborative onsite environment where we emphasize teamwork and professional growth. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, with flexible work schedules available between 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 4 pm. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish their rehabilitation needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound to promote recovery and enhance physical function.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments, ensuring that patients are consistently moving towards their recovery milestones.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle modifications that support rehabilitation and prevent future injuries.
  • Participate in clinical teaching by providing guidance to physical therapy interns or students during their clinical rotations, enhancing their educational experience in orthopedic care.
  • Collaborate with the clinic manager to identify clinical research opportunities within your area of expertise to contribute to the advancement of orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with adult patients who are recovering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele includes both active individuals seeking to regain their strength and function as well as elderly patients focusing on mobility and injury prevention.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or advanced Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid and active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is necessary to practice.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Must possess strong clinical assessment skills, alongside effective communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive patient relationships.
  • Knowledge of current therapy practices and the ability to integrate evidence-based approaches into patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, showcasing a commitment to advanced competency in this specialty.
  • Experience in utilizing advanced modalities and techniques in rehabilitation, including therapeutic exercise protocols tailored to orthopedic cases.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
