Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at a new 50-bed residential treatment program for adult males, opening in Chippewa Falls in Spring/Summer 2026.
Schedule
- 10pm-8am and every other weekend
In this direct care role, you will support residents in recovery by providing supervision, encouragement, life-skills coaching, and a safe, structured environment. You'll work closely with residents to support treatment goals while responding appropriately to daily needs, challenges, and crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support residents in a residential treatment setting
- Serve as a positive role model and provide daily encouragement
- Document observations and maintain accurate records
- Support treatment plans and resident goals
- Assist with medication monitoring/administration
- Help with housekeeping, laundry, meals, and daily living activities
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Facilitate educational and life-skills activities
- Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe environment
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
